Actors Gymnasium is proud to have worked with schools in Evanston, Chicago, and the surrounding areas to implement arts education or to complement already thriving programs. Our teachers are skilled in a wide variety of instruction, and can bring after-school and in-school programs, including one-day workshops, assemblies, and in-school residencies that last for several weeks to your school.

Circus Arts, Imaginastics, Dance, Aerial Arts, Tumbling and Physical Theatre are non-competitive programs that instill trust and a sense of collaboration to create work that increase discipline, self-esteem, and have also been shown to help students with special needs engage with the learning process in new and exciting ways.

“I would LOVE to keep on taking this class. 1. Because in school I feel like I don’t get enough P.E. 2. Because I LOVE it! 3. Because it’s AWESOME!” – Maisy

We’re excited to announce that we have joined the community of arts organizations that are able to teach in Chicago Public Schools as a Creative Arts Partner.
